Where is the cave where the wise woman went? And tell me where, where's all that money that I spent? I propose a toast To my self control You see it crawlin helpless on the floor. Someday there'll be a cure for pain That's the day I throw my drugs away When they find a cure for pain Find a cure for Find a cure for pain.

Cure for Pain is the second album by alternative rock band Morphine, released through Rykodisc in 1993. Jerome Deupree, the band's original drummer, quit due to health problems during the recording of the album and was replaced by Billy Conway. The tracks "Sheila" and "In Spite of Me" were prominently featured on the soundtrack of the 1994 independent film Spanking the Monkey. The video for "Thursday" also appeared on an episode of Beavis and Butt-head.

Lyrics to "Cure For Pain" song by Morphine: Where is the ritual? And tell me where, where is the taste? Where is the sacrifice? And tell me wher. I propose a toast To my self control You see it crawlin' helpless on the floor. Writer(s): Mark J. Sandman. album: "Cure For Pain" (1993).

Cure for Pain (оригинал Morphine). Лекарство от боли (перевод Константин). Someday there'll be a cure for pain. Когда-нибудь появится лекарство от боли. That's the day I throw my drugs away. В этот день я избавлюсь от всех своих лекарств. Find a cure for pain. Where is the cave, where the wise woman went.

Morphine was an American alternative rock group formed by Mark Sandman, Dana Colley, and Jerome Deupree in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1989. The band combined blues and jazz elements with more traditional rock arrangements, giving the band an unusual sound. The band enjoyed positive critical appraisal. In the United States the band was embraced and promoted by the indie rock community, including public and college radio stations and MTV's 120 Minutes. Internationally the band enjoyed high-profile success, especially in Belgium, Portugal, France and Australia.

Pressing is terrible, pops and crackles out of the shrink and a bubble in the vinyl near the end of side one which provides a wonderful thumping before the last track. urgh.
Every other review praises the quality of this release. I can also say that my copy sounds fantastic. You might have just been unlucky.
I had best stick to my original rykodisc tape then.
One of the best re-issues I've put my hands on, not your typical 180-gram-re-issue bs but a fine copy of one of the best rock albums from de 90's. If you get across one you really should get it, no regrets whatsoever... sounds like it should! love this record.
Awesome re-issue of one of the best albums ever. Pressing, sleeve, insert, all top notch. One of the best LPs I've ever bought.
I got this soon after its release and I sorely wish I picked up another copy, mostly because I'm frightened of the damage I may have done by playing it so often! This LP issue takes a solidified classic and lends it a level of transcendence. That's not hyperbole- it's fact. I don't trust many labels these days where vinyl reissues are concerned; but LITA always, always, ALWAYS delivers. I'd love to give all the folks at LITA a giant hug for bequeathing this to us music heads (and I'd share with them that the minute my husband and I got home from our wedding, we listened to "Cure For Pain" from this very release!)
Could not agree more!!! LITA killed it with this one. Sonically awesome on very high quality vinyl & the layout is beautiful. Just perfect!
I've never heard this album sound so good! Good good good!!!
Picked this up the other day on a whim. Very high quality pressing, great tunes, and includes a nice little retrospective! Morphine was great...complete shame that Sandman died.
great high-quality pressing of a great record. the remaster is great, and the sleeve and inserts are very classy (includes some interviews with Dana Colley and Billy Conway).
I'll second that! This sounds gorgeous
