Compilation of songs from the album Into The After Life and The Lost Album
Time of the Season" is a song by the British rock band the Zombies, featured on their 1968 album Odessey and Oracle. It was written by keyboard player Rod Argent and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in August 1967. Several other songs from Odessey and Oracle were released as singles prior to "Time of the Season". Columbia Records supported the album and its singles at the urging of new A&R representative Al Kooper.
In 1990 Blunstone, White and Grundy briefly reunited as the Zombies with t Sebastian Santa Maria and recorded the album The Return of the Zombies (February 1990), featuring some tracks that were remixed or re-recorded that appeared alongside some new songs the following year on New World (April 1991). If It Don't Work Out".

It's the time of the season When love runs high And this time, give it to me easy And let me try with pleasured hands To take you in the sun to (promised lands) To show you every one It's the time of the season for loving What's your name? Who's your daddy? (He rich) is he rich like me Has he taken, any time (To show) to show you what you need to live Tell it to me slowly (tell me what) I really want to know It's the time of the season for loving. 12. Beliebte Zombies Lyrics. 01Time of the Season. Zombies - Imagine the Swan Songtext. Well I have a picture in color of you And it's there in my room to remind me of you So it was with surprise that I saw you today And I did not recognize you, girl, what more can I say? For the colors are gone You've become kind of gray And you're not like the swan That I knew yesterday. Now the pictures are wrong You've become kind of gray I imagine the swan That you were yesterday
The Zombies keyboard player Rod Argent wrote this song. He said in The Guardian February 22, 2008: "'Time of the Season' was the last thing to be written (for the album). I remember thinking it sounded very commercial. Sarah from East Stroudsburg, PaThis song was used in the begining of the new Prom Night. John from Manila, OtherCome to imagine how they used the "breath sound". Guy from Wellington, New ZealandWay cool song. Just love the panting/sighing at the end of the intial lead-in riff. Very evocative of the time in which it was written. What's your name? Who's your daddy?

A slightly tinny sounding mastering (not sure if nothing else could be done with the recordings) but definitely Not Bad (obviously pun intended). Vinyl material is pretty good, almost no surface noise whatsoever and the translucent teal is very cool. Since i dont own Odessey & Oracle i would guess this could be the next best thing. Comparing it with the greatest hits SACD i think the SACD sounds better, a more wholesome sound (for example here in the last synth solo for Time of the Season the guitar is barely discernible if at all, and in the SACD it's more discernible).
