Anaal Nathrakh : The Codex Necro,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен.

Album (Studio full-length).

The Codex Necro is the first studio album by British black metal band Anaal Nathrakh, released on 27 November 2001. The album was re-released on 24 April 2006, with four additional bonus tracks taken from the John Peel BBC Radio One Session broadcast on 16 December 2003. It was again re-released in 2009, with four additional bonus tracks taken from the We Will Fucking Kill You demo.

Anaal Nathrakh's debut, The Codex Necro is as loud and as hellish as you think black metal can get. This sticks out from the usual black metal fare by being gritty, urban, and very clearly and loudly produced. The sound is apocalyptic in a very visceral way that makes it sound as harrowing as scenes of laboratory torture chambers and ruined cities burning with entrails shredded and splattered all about. Every second of The Codex Necro drips with nihilistic rage. This album is mercilessly heavy from start to macabre finish. L’s voice of ear-splitting fury carried this unholy debut from obscurity to its legendary status. Incredibly, this album is still relevant today, long after the metal world was introduced to Anaal Nathrakh’s particular brand of insanity. Every song on this album is relentless in intensity.
