Weld, Neil Young's two-hour-plus double-CD chronicle of his 1991 Ragged Glory/Smell the Horse Tour with Crazy Horse, was received with only mild enthusiasm from Young's fans and rock critics, perhaps because it seemed redundant. Such warhorses as "Like a Hurricane" and "Cortez the Killer" were making their fourth appearances on a Young album, and the five songs from the Ragged Glory album were basically unchanged from their studio versions.

Weld (the companion album to the 1991 concert video) found Neil Young & Crazy Horse cranking up the volume on gargantuan guitar distortion to sound so blisteringly loud on the opening Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black) that, in hindsight, makes perfect sense as to why so many music journalists were then quick to crown Young as The Godfather of Grunge

Crazy Horse is best known for its long association with Young, despite having released five albums of its own over a 19-year span.

Weld is a live album and concert video by Neil Young & Crazy Horse released in 1991,comprising performances recorded on the tour to promote the Ragged Glory album. Weld consists of rock and roll songs by Young and Crazy Horse, duplicating seven that hadappeared on either Rust Never Sleeps or Live Rust from twelve years earlier.

Life is an album by Canadian musician Neil Young and his backing band Crazy Horse, and it is Young's last release on the Geffen label. Like their 1979 album Rust Never Sleeps, Young and the Horse performed most of this album's songs live with the exceptions of "Cryin' Eyes" and "We Never Danced" which were recorded in studio. The album was released on July 6, 1987. The first three tracks all handle the topic of world politics, and ponder the role of the United States in the world.

Neil Young recorded this 35 minute slab of feedback and God knows what else back in the early 90's, when he was embracing the grunge music scene that he helped give birth to. Arc is mainly a collage of bits of songs from his tour with Crazy Horse that was documented on the superb album Weld. Feedback dominates here, but you can hear what might be the beginnings of songs throughout "

There are even too much songs for 2LPs, playing time here is 26-30 Minutes per side. Too much.I wonder how great this would have sounded if they'd put it on a 4LP Box Set instead.
Topmen
If you are on the fence about buying this or not, DO IT. The sound quality is amazing, as is the performance. Neil's guitar playing and tone are otherworldly! It's so good!
Eta
I only have disc one. Why are the two discs just listed?
Anarus
Because the full album is two LP's. This set list is way too much material to be only one LP. Most of the songs are too long for a single LP, as it would sound horrible as one only.
Waiso
There are 36 current copies of this landmark album on double vinyl that was only released in the EU back in 1991??? Hmmm, I smell a bootleg.
Grari
The best version of 'Love And Only Love' is on this release, Neil's guitar just slays..
